We have been blessed with a wonderful marriage, beautiful family and great friends. I've been working for Texarkana ISD since 2004 and recently Brandon has been hired as a teacher at THS. I just feel so lucky to have such a great husband and family in good health.burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.comBlogger10125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706184731904740305.post-19841453723290828292009-09-17T16:30:00.000-07:002009-09-17T17:59:26.569-07:00Cade Walking

Cade is getting really good at walking. He's been taking a few steps here and there for about a month, but he has the hang of it now. He has four teeth and has been drooling like crazy lately, so I think he's about to get some more. We are really enjoying him!!
burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706184731904740305.post-49899273922111945172009-07-31T06:24:00.001-07:002009-07-31T06:27:04.566-07:00What's coming up for the Burnett's.We are moving this weekend into a rent house and will start building our house ASAP. We are super excited although moving is not fun at all!

Cade will be getting tubes next Thursday. I am actually glad because I think this will make him feel better. He has been acting better since the teeth came in and then he started acting up again so I knew something was wrong and sure enough he had an ear infection again.

We've got a lot going on in the next few months, so yall pray for us!burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706184731904740305.post-65889723022203580252009-07-08T07:40:00.000-07:002009-07-08T07:42:00.535-07:00Teething is Horrible!Cade got his first tooth on Monday. He has been sleeping through the night since he was 11 weeks old. Daddy is out of town this week. Monday night he woke up at 12:00am and stayed awake until 2am. Last night he woke up at 10:30 and stayed up until 12:15. I am super tired. I feel so bad for him though because I know that other tooth is hurting him! Ugh...come on teeth.burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706184731904740305.post-69135579165418889152009-07-02T17:17:00.001-07:002009-07-02T17:20:15.131-07:00Lynyrd Skynyrd/Kid Rock Concert We went to the Lynyrd Skynyrd/Kid Rock concert last night and had a blast! I didn't get home until 2:15am, but thank goodness Brandon was willing to watch Cade, so I got a girls night. It was awesome. He has been on antibiotics for the past month for his ears and has been doing great. We go back to the ear doctor on July 13th to make sure he is in the clear. He is just such a sweet little boy. The fact that he is more aware of his surroundings made it worse though. He cried like he got his feelings hurt. That makes me so sad. In other news, he has started clapping. I give most of the credit to Baby Einstein's First Moves. Every time they clap on it he is in his little chair clapping along. He won't clap on cue for me yet though. He has been so sweet lately and has just been so much fun. When Brandon and I got back from the lake on Saturday morning, he kissed all over my whole face like he just missed me so much. It was sweet.burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8706184731904740305.post-53786496649665432862009-05-28T13:12:00.000-07:002009-05-28T13:14:47.127-07:00No Tubes...yetWell, we went to the ENT Dr on Tuesday and we now have Cade on a month long antibiotic. If he gets an ear infection during the antibiotics or after, he will have to get tubes. Fortunately for us, he is still acting very happy and not like he is sick at all. I'm hoping he won't get any more infections and we'll be home free. This is the 4th time in 6 months so we have to see the ENT Dr. on Tuesday for tube consultation. I absolutely do not want him to have to get tubes, but if it makes him feel better we will do it. Ear infections really make him not act himself at all. He is usually so happy, but when he has an ear infection you cannot get out of his sight without him fussing and crying. I hate it so much for him. Luckily, he is still able to sleep pretty good, so I'm glad for that for the both of us. Keep us in your thoughts and pray that he gets over this ear infection and doesn't get another one!!burnettbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13233559479184800548noreply@blogger.com1
